The Good Ski Guide team will be led by our own young Indiana Jones, USA editor Pietro Simonetti, who is already a Guinness World Record holder for endurance skiing. He skied 28 Colorado resorts in 4 days, then repeated the challenge across 28 Californian resorts – both amazing endurance records. Now European resorts have challenged “Indy” to see if he can repeat his feat in the world’s biggest ski playground – the European Alps. So after conferring with resorts and logistical partners, we have decided that he will try to ski 30 European countries in 10 days - skiing night and day, taking short sleeps in the convoy. His effort will be in aid of three charities, now being considered, and aims to promote awareness about the effects of climate change. We are now offering everyone from car manufacturers to clothing manufacturers to media, telecommunications and carbon-offsetting firms a unique opportunity to join us in what will be the world’s biggest-ever ski challenge.
