Editorial Guidelines

Journalists and photographers interested in submitting articles/pics should email a synopsis/sample low-res pic to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it We will then commission or not. We will advise in 10 days if we interested. Please do not ring and pester us, as this is a sure way to get a No!
Editorial steer - we prefer features to be written as though the writer were there. We do not publish overviews, and writers should be aware that the Good Ski Guide and its sister publications - Good Holiday Magazine, and Mountain Magic - are all distributed internationally. So please note all prices in local currency with a rate against the £ and $

Therefore it is important to remember that an international audience is uninterested in hearing about Brit things, or local names or mentions of the Ski Club or tour operators and the likes.
Musts - the article must carry prices of all products/companies mentioned and have a fact box with the destination's web address, phone no, fax no., and how to get there - i.e. from the nearest airport. If an exotic destination, do include the name of the nearest airport and how long it takes to train/drive to the resort.
Billings - All authors/photographers/suppliers must invoice the following company:- Mountain Leisure Limited… Parman House, 30-36 Fife Road, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, KT1 1SY

Note to PRs – All information intended for Good Ski guide/Mountain Magic, and all press trips/fam trips offered to us must be made in writing to John Hill:
