From Piste to Piano!
Our very own Bill Dale -Editor Austria and longest GSG writer (26 years), decided some years ago to add to his list of remarkable achievements and took on learning to play the piano. In his inimitable style, it was far from enough to simply be a 'reasonably good' player!. as he demonstrated recently at a Glasgow, Scotland 'Pianothon', hosted by BBC Radio 3 - and Presenter Iain Burnside on Saturday 11 October at the Mitchell Library (Jeffrey Library).
Just one week later, on Saturday October 18th., Bill was astonished to receive a call from the BBC to tell him his performance was being broadcast that morning on Radio 3!
