A small gondola serves the local ski area at Tracouet which has some very nice, easy cruising runs back to the village. Getting to and from the rest of the 4 valleys has its challenges, so most holiday skiers get the reliable local bus to Siviez which is the Clapham Junction of the 4 valleys. Some of our readers swear by Nendaz, with small 3 star hotels, and a fair amount of night life here, with bars and Asian cuisine.
